Indirect TMPS works with the ABS of your vehicle. It is connected to the ABS with a sensor. When the tire pressure is low, the ABS will be rolling at a different speed than regular. The sensor detects this, and it sends a message to the computer of your car and thus blinks on the dashboard.

What Does A TPMS Warning Light Mean?

TPMS light flashes and then stays on

If the TPMS light keeps blinking for about 60 to 80 seconds and then it keeps turning on without any sign of it turning off, there’s a problem. It means the TPMS is not working correctly. You need to contact the vehicle experts, especially the TPMS experts, for the repair. Until it is repaired and back to action, it won’t correctly notify you of your tires' pressure.
